The process is very simple. Greg and Debra meet with the buyer client to discuss floor plans. The buyer client might have plans from a magazine or from a website. Sometimes the buyer client wants features from two different plans designed into one home. Often a Bass Built stock plan is modified to meet certain criteria. On average three meetings are held just to discuss floor plans. Greg designs and draws the plans. A floor plan is then provided to the buyer client for them to study before a final decision is made. When the floor plans are complete, a written proposal is provided to the buyer client. The proposal explains in detail what is included and allowances are given for specific items. The proposal process brings to the forefront several questions and they are all answered. It is important the buyer client knows what is and what is not included in the price of the home before an Offer to Purchase and Contract is executed. There have been times Greg has built a home on land owned by the client. The process is the same and the client is encouraged to obtain their own construction loan to save money. Greg is a licensed NC Real Estate Broker and Debra holds a Provisional Broker license. They market the homes they build and do not list homes that are to be sold by buyer clients. Buyer's agents are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the plans and proposal process. It is the goal of Bass Built Homes, Inc. to make the building process easy and enjoyable.
